In 2009, Jake Maier hung up his baseball cleats as a junior at Jenison High to begin a lawncare business out of his parents’ garage. In the years that followed, Rush Creek Lawn & Landscape has grown from its humble roots into an experienced and insured service provider.

Informed by classes in Michigan State’s landscape and turf management program, and years of hands-on experience, Jake leads his crew to deliver trusted service aiming to exceed customer expectations on a daily basis.

Our company is named for the creek that runs through our service area and near the farm belonging to Jake’s grandparents. It speaks to our commitment to this community.
